Sogo commented: ‘We are delighted that our highly successful scripted formats are being adapted in France. This marks the first time that these formats will be created in Europe, and we are looking forward to watching our dramas gain a new life and presence in France. We can’t wait to see the French version and the French viewers are in good hands with Incognita and their remarkable production quality’.

The producer CEO, said: ‘We are thrilled to develop the French remakes of hit Japanese series. Both are emotional and suspenseful dramas led by strong female protagonists which explore the full range of human emotions and revolve around the universal themes of love, family, and what it ultimately means to be a mother. We have found great partners in Nippon TV and we can't wait to treat French audiences with these extraordinary stories. We are actively working to adapt both shows for the French market and we plan to shoot the first one in 2020’.

It also captured the hearts of the Korean drama audience in 2018, when it was produced by CJ E&M, created by Studio Dragon, and aired on tvN in 10 Asian countries at the same time.

Woman was also adapted by the same producer in Turkey as Kadin, and has also been a huge success; now is on its second season, being the ratings champion on the day that it airs on FOX Turkey, and sold to 25 countries and territories.
