DRG takes the global rights for My Grandparents’ War

After the Channel 4’s announcement that it has commissioned My Grandparents’ War from Wild Pictures, now DRG has taken the international distributions rights for the upcoming documentary series.

The four-part series, produced by Wild Pictures, shows Hollywood stars including The English Patient star Kristin Scott Thomas and Bridge of Spies star Mark Rylance re-trace the footsteps of their grandparents in World War Two. The series it will explore how six years changed the lives of their family and the world forever.

Such a unique and considered approach to this global event, coupled with the 80th anniversary in September, is sure to make this extraordinary series a ‘must have’ title for any broadcaster or platform looking to commemorate the start of World War Two’.

The show will air on C4 in UK later this year, and was commissioned by Fatima Salaria, produced by Tom Anstiss and Paul Hamannand, and directed by Leo Burley.
